On September 5, Professor Thomas Fuhrmann, Vice President of Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) came to Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) for a three-day visit. Professor Fuhrmann is an old friend of SZTU. This is the third time that he has been to Shenzhen and SZTU. He came here to welcome the 2018 freshmen for official registration with SZTU faculties and student volunteers.

During his visit, ProfessorFuhrmann also attended the unveiling ceremony of SZTU souvenir shop, The Artisan’s Loft. He had a fruitful talk with Professor Ruan Shuangchen, Director of SZTU and visited the Sino-German Laboratory of Beer Brewing Process Control, a collaborative laboratory between SZTU and RUAS. After a lunch with deans of SZTU, he had a lively discussion with them on future cooperation plans between two universities.

His visit also brought some good news to SZTU by joining SZTU in establishing the short-term exchange program of RUAS Winter Camp as a traditional exchange program between SZTU and RUAS. In addition, SZTU and RUAS will continue their cooperation in the areas of faculty exchange, joint establishment of laboratories and scientific innovation centers, and discipline construction.
