A delegation led by Prof. Patyk Roksolana, vice president of Lviv National Academy of Arts (LNAA), and Prof. Patyk Ostap from Ukrainian National Forestry University paid a visit to Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) on the morning of April 19. Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, and professors from the College of Creative Design held a meeting with the delegation. During the meeting, SZTU signed MoUs with the two Ukrainian universities respectively. Both sides look forward to seeing more pragmatic cooperation and fruitful results in various fields, such as student and faculty exchanges, cooperative teaching programs, and scientific research etc.

Prof. Ruan warmly welcomed the LNAA and Ukrainian National Forestry University delegation and presented a detailed introduction to SZTU regarding its campus planning, disciplinary setup, talents cultivation mode and teaching resources etc. He sincerely invited the two universities’ professors to teach at SZTU and hoped that both sides may jointly explore the feasibility and details for setting up a Ukraine Class.

Prof. Patyk Roksolana expressed her gratitude for SZTU’s warm reception and introduced LNAA’s development history and disciplinary setup etc. She also expressed her confidence and anticipation in further cooperation between LNAA and SZTU.

Prof. Patyk Ostap from Ukrainian National Forestry University shared his pleasure upon receiving the invitation to visit SZTU at the meeting and said that he hopes both sides can seize the opportunity and carry out close collaboration on teaching resources and cultivation modes etc.

After the meeting, the delegation went on a campus tour around SZTU and paid a visit to Pingshan art gallery and Shenzhen art exhibition center.
