On March 25, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) held an anti-fraud training session provided by police from Shijing Police Station of Pingshan Branch of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau and jointly organized by International Cooperation and Student Affairs Office and Security Center of SZTU. It was joined by Zeng Siyu, director of International Cooperation and Student Affairs Office; Lu Guoqiang, director of Security Center; and related staff members.

The training session was lectured by Liao Hongbo, deputy director of Shijing Police Station and Police Officer He Yonghai, an anti-fraud expert. They introduced some common types of fraud, telecommunication fraud in particular by analyzing fraud cases on campus over the past few years. The police officers emphasized the necessity of raising awareness about fraud and providing anti-fraud education for students to help them prevent and detect fraud.

SZTU works closely with Public Security Bureau and Shijing Police Station to ensure a safe campus. After this training session, the practical skills to detect fraud were shared with all SZTU students to raise their anti-fraud awareness and enhance their safety consciousness.
