Professor Yi Man Li, founding director of the Master of Science in Financial Technology Management (MSc-FTM) programme at Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU), recently visited Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) as an invited speaker. The event, co-organized by the SZTU Business School and the International Cooperation & Exchanges Department, featured a lecture titled "Transforming Ideas into Impactful Research: The Art and Pathway to Publication." During her lecture, Professor Li provided a systematic guide on transforming academic ideas into research with practical value. Focusing on elements such as concise writing norms, optimization of English expression, and structural organization, she emphasized the principles of "clarity and coherence" in writing and techniques for effectively introducing arguments. Drawing from her extensive experience as an external PhD examiner for multiple universities and as a lead researcher on competitive grants, Professor Li shared valuable insights and methodologies for publishing in high-impact international journals.

Following the academic discussion, Professor Li detailed the design philosophy and unique features of HKSYU's MSc in Financial Technology Management programme.
