On February 21, the delegation from Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (Heilbronn UAS) led by Prof. Thomas Bezold, Dean of the College of Technics and Economics, Prof. Carsten Wittenberg, Dean of the College Mechanics and Electronics, Prof. Louise Bielzer, Director of International Relations of the College of Technics and Economics, Ms. Tomomi Eberhard, International Relations Coordinator of the College of Technics and Economics, Prof. Jürgen Ulm from the College of Technics and Economics, and a delegation from Würth Elektronik led by Mr. Steffen Mütsch, Head of Product Management of Würth Elektronik eiSos, Mr. Yangyang Chen, Division Manager of Quality Design Center Asia of Würth Elektronik eiSos visited Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU).

The friendship between Heilbronn UAS and SZTU can be traced back to November 2018, when Prof. Xu Gang, Vice President of SZTU, led a delegation to visit Heilbronn UAS for the first time. This year, on behalf of SZTU, Prof. Xu Gang warmly received the two delegations along with Prof. Lue Qitao, Dean of the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing, Prof. Franz Raps, Dean of the College of Urban Transportation and Logistics, Prof. Jiang Lianbo, Deputy Dean of the College of Urban Transportation and Logistics, Prof. Julian Chan, International Affairs Officer of the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing, and Ms. Zeng Siyu, Head of the International Cooperation and Student Affairs Office.

A meeting was held to discuss wide-ranging topics, which led to a consensus between Heilbronn UAS and SZTU to develop more cooperation programs, especially in the area of student and faculty exchange, university-enterprise cooperation and PhD students cultivation. After the meeting, representatives from Heilbronn UAS, Würth Elektronik and SZTU signed an agreement for deepened cooperation, increased faculty and student mobility and further inter-institutional collaboration.
