The College of Engineering Physics of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) was officially established on March 1, and Prof. Zhou Cangtao was appointed the dean at the inaugural meeting. Vice President of SZTU Prof. Xu Gang, Dean of the College of New Materials and New Energies Prof. Han Peigang, and some representatives of the teaching faculty members attended the meeting and witnessed the establishment of the College.

In his speech, Prof. Zhou expressed his appreciation of SZTU’s appointment and said that the College would set about making the development plan as soon as possible so as to speed up the construction of basic disciplines and produce first-class engineers in physics. He is confident that with the development of the College, the education level of SZTU will reach new heights.

Both Prof. Xu and Prof. Han gave their congratulations on the establishment of the College of Engineering Physics. Prof. Xu said that the College should improve its staff structure and establish the management system as soon as possible. He hopes that the College can achieve landmark results in application-orientated talents cultivation and scientific research in the near future.
