On the afternoon of June 1st, 2018, an information session titled Be Our Partner was held at the German Chamber of Commerce Shenzhen Innovation Hub for the purpose of expanding Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU)’s cooperation with German enterprises and institutions. Representatives from 17 well-known entities including Siemens, the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst in German and DAAD for short), and the Goethe Institute, a language and international cultural exchange facility of the Federal Republic of Germany, attended the session on the day. Ms. Lydia Schulz, the Shenzhen Regional Manager of German Chamber of Commerce in China, hosted the session.

Mr. Holger Haldenwang, Distinguished Professor of SZTU, Professor Franz Raps, Dean of the College of Urban Transportation and Logistics, Professor Lyu Qitao, Dean of the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing, Professor Du Chenlin, Head of the Scientific Research and University-Enterprise Cooperation Office, and Associate Professor Zeng Siyu, Head of the International Cooperation and Student Affairs Office took part in the event.

As the keynote speaker, Professor Haldenwang gave a vivid and succinct introduction on the teaching mode, colleges and programs, and university-enterprise cooperation strategies of SZTU during the session. Enterprise representatives expressed their appreciation of the idea of student internships and highly looked forward to further cooperation in the future.
