On November 1, 2019, Shenzhen celebrated the third “Talent Day” with an array of award ceremonies to recognize talents’ outstanding contributions to Shenzhen’s development. Wang Weizhong, secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, Chen Rugui, deputy secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Shenzhen, and other officials from the People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality also attended the event. Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) won the “Bole Award” for its contributions in talent introduction and Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, received the certificate of “Talent Ambassador”.

In the afternoon, Pingshan District organized a launching ceremony to celebrate Shenzhen’s third “Talent Day”, during which Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, Prof. Hu Junqing, dean of College of Health Science and Environmental Engineering and Prof. Han Peigang, dean of College of New Materials and New Energies, attended the ceremony. Tao Yongxin, secretary of Pingshan District Party Committee, Li Yong, mayor of Pingshan District, Prof. Ruan Shuangchen and Prof. Hu Junqing unveiled the “PhD Association” in Shenzhen Pingshan District.
