SZTU invited Prof. Chen Guoliang, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), to give a lecture for SZTU faculty members on November 7. Prof. Zhang Jihong, Party secretary of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), Prof. Zhang Yanhong, deputy Party secretary and secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of SZTU, deans of different colleges, heads of various offices and some teachers attended the lecture.

At the beginning of the lecture, Prof. Zhang Jihong made an opening remark. He hopes that all faculty members could learn from the best practice from Prof. Chen Guoliang and strive to be a role model for SZTU students.

Prof. Chen Guoliang mentioned that the standards for being a qualified teacher was a full loyalty to the education undertaking, the right outlook on world, life and values, persistence in people-centered and moral education as well as good behaviors.
