President of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) Ruan Shuangchen recently led a delegation to visit several enterprises based in Shenzhen, including China Telecom National Entrepreneurship-and-Innovation Service Base, Grentech Co., Ltd. and Eigen-Equation Co., Ltd. SZTU delegation introduced the philosophy of university-enterprise cooperation and discussed the possible cooperation in the future. On March 20, the SZTU delegation led by President Ruan visited China Telecom National Entrepreneurship-and-Innovation Service Base, which actively implements the Belt and Road Initiative and constructs the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is also an important window for sharing basic resources and services such as Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, all-optical network, 5G, etc. Two parties had in-depth discussions of the construction of smart campus and other topics on mutual cooperation.

On March 23, President Ruan Shuangchen led the delegation to visit Grentech Co., Ltd., which is a national hi-tech enterprise focusing on wireless communication and smart city. It is also the main supplier of radio frequency (RF) modules, which are the core part of global base stations of ZTE, Ericsson and Nokia. In the later discussion, two parties exchanged ideas about the research and development of materials for communication antennas, the training direction of relevant specialties, etc.

On March 24, Eigen-Equation Co., Ltd. introduced its independently developed graphene technology to the SZTU delegation. This technology can effectively increase the safety and service life of lithium ion batteries, enjoying a broad industrial prospect. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the possibility of promoting joint research in the field of graphene materials.
