Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) donated 10,000 face masks to the East Bavarian Technical University of Regensburg (OTH Regensburg) amid the outbreak of COVID-19. The donation was initiated by SZTU Business School, the dean of which is Prof. Dr. Holger Haldenwang, also the former executive vice president of OTH Regensburg.

A fundraising event was successfully held on March 31, during which the masks from SZTU were handed over to Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Baier, president of OTH Regensburg, and then were distributed equally to three hospitals in Regensburg, namely the University Hospital Regensburg, the Hospital Barmherzige Brüder and the Hospital Sankt Josef. Lord Mayor of the City of Regensburg Mrs. Gertrud Maltz - Schwarzfischer, as well as directors of the hospitals, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to SZTU.
