SZTU intensifies cooperation with FHNW online

Although the viral pneumonia cases caused by COVID-19 are sweeping the globe, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) keeps intensifying cooperation with its international partners, including University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). On May 18, Prof. Ruedi Nützi, director of the School of Business FHNW, and other four Swiss experts had a video conference with Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, aiming to deepen pragmatic cooperation with SZTU.

SZTU President Ruan Shuangchen expressed concerns to Prof. Ruedi Nützi and other Swiss experts. He detailed the construction progress and class resumption of SZTU, and hoped that SZTU will promote cooperation with FHNW on innovation and entrepreneurship courses. Zeng Siyu, head of International Cooperation and Student Affairs Office also attended the conference.

Prof. Ruedi Nützi, who was awarded the 2014 Friendship Award by China for his efforts in strengthening cooperation in education, research, and innovation between Switzerland and China, thought highly of the effective prevention and control measures taken by SZTU. He said that FHNW has a ready-made innovative curriculum system and is willing to help SZTU build modular innovation courses based on the Swiss Innovation Center. The other attendees from FHNW are Prof. Michael Jeive, head of Swiss SME Research Center China, Prof. Yufan Jiang, head of China Center, Dr. Yingbo Seiler, project manager of China Center, and Ruth Böni, project manager of China Center.
