The enrollment of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) in 2020 has drawn to a successful end. According to statistics, SZTU is a popular choice for applicants and there are 20 majors for them to choose. 1,596 students from 10 provinces in China, including Guangdong, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Henan, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Shandong, Ningxia, Gansu and Guizhou, will unlock their college lives in the vibrant campus this September.

SZTU is an international, high-level and exemplary university of applied sciences established by Guangdong Province and Shenzhen Municipality. Its establishment as a University of Applied Sciences was officially approved by the Ministry of Education on November 30, 2018. The school draws on the advanced school-running experience of first-class universities of applied sciences in Germany and Switzerland.

SZTU shoulders the mission of implementing the national innovation-driven development strategy, fully meeting the needs of industries, exploring new developmental routes for higher education for bachelor degree and above. All the students need to learn technical skills by following the instructions of professors in labs from their first semesters. They will have the opportunity to study in well-known companies and take part in university or enterprise practical projects so as to guarantee their cultivation in both academic and vocational regard. Although the school is three years old, SZTU has signed cooperation agreements with more than 160 well-known enterprises and more than 50 international universities and institutions.
