The 22nd China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) was opened on November 11 at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center and other sub-venues. Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) attended CHTF with 68 original scientific research achievements.

This year has witnessed an increase in the number of participating projects, exhibits on display and the area of the pavilion of SZTU compared with last year. SZTU’s projects cover new generation of information technology, advanced equipment and intelligent manufacturing, energy saving and environmental protection, photoelectric display, smart medical care, new materials and new energy, cultural and creative design, etc. 49 of them are exhibited on display, including 100W femtosecond laser, high-precision flexible printed circuit (FPC) R2R AOI equipment, high-performance excimer laser, and advanced autostereoscopic TV production and image processing technology.

On November 11, Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, came to the university’s stand, fully briefed on the exhibition information of SZTU by Prof. Du Chenlin, head of Scientific Research and University-Enterprise Cooperation Office. Prof. Ruan encouraged researchers to make persistent efforts to accelerate the industrialization and commercialization of scientific research results. It is hoped that SZTU can take a step further in hi-tech development in the future.

China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) is held in Shenzhen, co-hosted by Ministries and Commissions of the national government and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. Currently, it is the largest and the most influential scientific and technological fair in China and is renowned as “the No.1 Technology Show in China”. With the theme of “transforming the future with technology and driving development with innovation”, the 22nd CHTF is held from November 11 to 15, including exhibitions (national high-tech pavilion, general show and specialized shows), forums, conferences, supporting events and sub-venues. CHTF 2020 brings together the advanced products and technologies in such fields as new generation IT technology, energy conservation, environment protection, photoelectric displays, smart medical care, smart cities, advanced manufacturing, and aerospace. It attracts more than 3,300 domestic and overseas exhibitors and nearly 10,000 projects, and there will be over 140 events.
