On December 29 of 2020, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) and Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., Ltd. (Dahua Technology) signed a university-enterprise cooperation agreement for establishing "Dahua Internet of Things (IoT) Intelligence Class" and unveiled the Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Industrial Vision. Ying Yong, vice president of Dahua Technology, and Xu Gang, vice president of SZTU, attended the ceremony.

Based on the Ministry of Education's guiding principle of collaborative education through industry-education integration, Dahua IoT Intelligence Class of SZTU aims to cultivate high-level applied talents with craftsman’s spirit as well as innovation and entrepreneurial skills. 30 students will be selected from the Internet of Things Engineering Class of 2019 at the College of Big Data and Internet to form the first Dahua IoT Intelligence class. SZTU will introduce corporate training courses and reformulate the student training scheme for the class, which will enable students to master the expertise in the intelligent video sector in advance. Meanwhile, "Dahua Future Star" Scholarship will be provided for outstanding students of the class.

The Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Industrial Vision co-established by SZTU and Dahua Technology will give full play to the strengths of both parties to build an on-campus internship and training center, which aims to cultivate more highly qualified talents of applied sciences in the field of artificial intelligence and provide technical support in innovative industrial applications for the corporate development.
