With the strong support of Ministry of Education and Department of Education of Guangdong Province, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) has been approved to offer 8 new majors to undergraduates recently, namely Data Science and Big Data Technology, Microelectronics Science and Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Intelligent Medical Engineering, Art and Technology, Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, Pharmacy, and English. All the majors provided by SZTU are shown as below.

The newly approved majors focus on the economic development and social need of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and China. With the strategic goal of building a high-level university of applied sciences, SZTU will formulate discipline construction plans according to the purpose of training practice-oriented talents, further optimize the specialty setting and program design, and promote the coordinated development of multiple disciplines.
