Prof. Ruan Shuangchen extended a warm welcome to the guests. He pointed out that the first batch of graduates of SZTU was widely recognized by the job market, marking SZTU’s sound start to cultivating technical talents. Learning the training model from universities in developed countries, SZTU will tailor training programs that are more flexible and more suitable for students’ personal development, set up special majors that are in line with international standards and national strategies, and offer customised programmes with partner enterprises.

Lin Zuoming fully affirmed the university philosophy and briefly introduced Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics. CSAA is an outstanding academic non-profit social organization with 35 professional branches and local societies in 19 provinces and cities across the country. It is hoped that the three parties can break the traditional teaching model by working together for coordinated development, making SZTU a hub for interdisciplinary, technical and versatile talents.

Tian Shan introduced CSC Aeronautics Technology Co., Ltd. The company currently has three major sectors — the power industry, the aircraft industry, and the international science and innovation sector. She hoped that the company and the university can jointly explore a collaborative innovation system that follows the development rules of disciplines and majors, suited for the needs of the industry and the market. It should be enterprise oriented and integrated with industry, academia, research and application.
According to the agreement, the two sides will take advantage of their platforms to establish off-campus practical training bases; cooperate in various projects based on joint research, development, design, etc.; and set up joint talent class and aeronautics college step by step to meet the targeted needs of the industry.
