On November 25, a delegation from Ka Shui Group visited Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) and signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish an off-campus internship base with SZTU.

The signing ceremony was joined by Prof. Liang Yongsheng, vice president of SZTU; Mr. Y.F. Lee, chairman of Ka Shui Group, chairman of Hong Kong Federation of Innovative Technologies and Manufacturing Industries (FITMI) and executive chairman of Greater Bay Area Innovation & Technology International Cooperation Forum; Dr. S.W. Lui, deputy chairman of FITMI and secretary general of Greater Bay Area Innovation & Technology International Cooperation Forum; and Mr. Wilson Lam and Mr. Teddy Chui, deputy chairmen of FITMI.

Prof. Liang Yongsheng welcomed the delegation at the meeting. He said that the industrial needs will promote the scientific research and development of SZTU, and its new technologies will upgrade the industry as well. That is how university-enterprise cooperation should work. He hoped that SZTU can further integrate cooperation with the industry in education, technology, finance, internationalization, etc., and innovate the cooperation model.

Mr. Y.F. Lee said that he looks forward to further cooperating with SZTU in the field of new energy vehicles. This industry has bright prospects and plays an important role in the development of science and technology in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Dr. S.W. Lui and Mr. Wilson Lam also noted the exciting prospects of the manufacturing industry. The two sides should work together to facilitate industrial development in the region by putting theory into practice.

After the meeting, HR General Manager of Ka Shui Group Ms. Carolina Yu and Head of Office of Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs of SZTU Ms. Zeng Siyu signed the cooperation agreement to jointly build the off-campus internship base.
