Spring semester begins with online classes

Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) began its new semester on February 23. To implement the national and local epidemic prevention and control measures and maintain a safe and healthy campus, SZTU launched its online courses for 6,117 students. A total of 1,063 classes are offered virtually by 489 teachers and some experimental and practical classes will get underway when students come back to school. Graduate students are also able to receive online teaching and guidance from their instructors.

Educators have thoroughly prepared for online teaching during the winter holiday. Department of Academic Affairs also provided teachers with training in the usage of online teaching platforms. Students can enter the live broadcast via the links updated in the academic affairs system.

Although online learning poses challenges for both teachers and students, SZTUers take advantage of technology and have a smooth start of the new semester.
