Recently, a batch of projects on building machinery industry innovation platforms were approved by China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF). A project on building Key Laboratory of Intelligent Technology for 3C Industrial Robot in Machinery Industry jointly applied by Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) and Shenzhen Han's Robot Co., Ltd. was on the approved list after several rounds of review.
As one of the three carriers of China’s machinery industry innovation system, no more than 25 key laboratories in machinery industry are approved per year. Therefore, achieving the approval of building Key Laboratory of Intelligent Technology for 3C Industrial Robot in Machinery Industry marks a major breakthrough in the construction of SZTU’s sci-tech innovation platforms and strong recognition for SZTU’s research achievements and future development in 3C industrial robotics technology.

The Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing of SZTU will take the key laboratory as an opportunity to further integrate existing laboratory resources, refine the research directions, and enhance faculty training. It aims to build the key laboratory into an influential high-tech industry-university-research collaboration platform in China and strives to promote the upgrading and development of China’s manufacturing industry.
