SZTU researchers publish review in Coordination Chemistry Reviews

Edited by:Release Time:2022/12/08

Prof. Hu Junqing, dean of College of Health Science and Environmental Engineering, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), and his research team published a review titled “Stimulus-responsive inorganic semiconductor nanomaterials for tumor-specific theranostics” in Coordination Chemistry Reviews (IF: 24.833). Associate Prof. Hu Xin, Assistant Prof. Ha Enna and Assistant Prof. Ai Fujin from College of Health Science and Environmental Engineering are co-first authors. Prof. Hu Junqing and SZTU President Prof. Ruan Shuangchen are co-corresponding authors. The full text of the article can be found at: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0010854522004167.

The review first introduced the semiconductor nanomaterials, their preparation methods and properties. The researchers comprehensively discussed the exogenous stimuli (light, magnetism, ultrasound, radiation, etc.) and endogenous stimuli (acidic pH, hypoxia, H2O2, GSH, enzymes, etc.). In the end, the trend and outlook of this research field were summarized. This review accurately and comprehensively discussed the development of inorganic semiconductor nanomaterials and their application in precise tumor diagnosis and therapy, which has important guiding significance for the research, development direction and clinical translation.
