Students get good results at ICPC and CCPC

International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) and China Collegiate Programming Contest (CCPC) 2022-2023 were successfully concluded. Competing with universities including Tsinghua University and Peking University, the ACM training team from College of Big Data and Internet, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) won one silver medal at CCPC and three bronze medals at ICPC.

ICPC is the oldest, largest and most prestigious algorithmic programming contest for college students, which is known as the “Olympics of Programming Competitions”. CCPC, a similar competition held in China, also requires students to work to solve the most real-world algorithmic problems within five hours under pressure.

During this winter holiday, students at the ACM training team received training both online and offline. The coach Assistant Prof. Guo Yundi said that the training can help students improve not only their algorithmic and programming skills but also their thinking ability, which is beneficial for their study and work in the future.
