1. International Conference for Digital Intelligence Logistics and Supply Chain Management
From November 17 to 19, the International Conference for Digital Intelligence Logistics and Supply Chain Management (DILSCM2023) themed “Digitalization Enabling Supply Chain Value Reconstruction to Promote High Quality Economic Development” was held at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU). It was jointly sponsored by the Guangdong Operations Research Society (GORS) and the Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Alliance of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (LSCIAGBA), gathering more than 300 domestic and international experts, scholars, and industry representatives from related fields, as well as government leaders, university teachers and students.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Wang Shufeng, president of the Logistics Branch of GORS, and addressed by Prof. Cao Bingyuan, chairman of GORS; Prof. Lin Zhijun, chairman of LSCIAGBA; Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU; Prof. Yi Zelong, representative from Shenzhen University; and Prof. Tang Qiangrong, vice president of Guangzhou Maritime University. Prof. Ruan introduced SZTU and stated the importance of digital intelligence logistics and supply chain management and his expectations for the attendees.

The ceremony was followed by a keynote speech session, a roundtable session and nine sub-sessions for scholars and experts to give reports and exchange ideas.

2. 2023 Workshop on Advanced Materials and Solar Cell Technology
Recently, SZTU hosted the 2023 Workshop on Advanced Materials and Solar Cell Technology. It was attended by Prof. Liang Yongsheng, vice president of SZTU, relevant department heads, college heads and professors of SZTU, together with world’s top scholars and technical experts in the field of solar cells.

The workshop gathered chief scientists, technical officers, and technical directors from leading domestic photovoltaic companies such as Longi Green Energy, Tongwei Solar, Trina Solar, Jinko Solar, Chint Solar, and Risen Energy, as well as scholars and experts from domestic and foreign universities such as the University of New South Wales, University of Oxford, Australian National University, National University of Singapore, University of Luxembourg, Nankai University, Wuhan University, Sichuan University, Lanzhou University, Beijing University of Technology, and Southern University of Science and Technology.

Prof. Liang Yongsheng talked about the broad prospects of solar photovoltaic industry and expected further exchange and cooperation between the guests and SZTU through the workshop.
