New global partnerships built

Recently, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) has signed cooperation agreements with Fulda University of Applied Sciences in Germany, University of Applied Sciences Burgenland in Austria, and Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport in Poland respectively, providing more opportunities for students to go aboard for exchanges and studies.

 

01 Fulda University of Applied Sciences

The two universities completed the signing of the cooperation agreement in May 2024 and will carry out student exchange programs. The International Course in Business at the Faculty of Business of Fulda University of Applied Sciences with scholarships available is recruiting exchange students from SZTU for the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Founded in 1974, Fulda University of Applied Sciences, located in Fulda, Hesse, the fifth largest federal state in Germany, is the fifth public university of applied sciences in the state of Hesse and is known for its wide range of disciplines, high-quality teaching, and strong humanistic atmosphere. The university has eight faculties: Faculty of Applied Information, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Engineering, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Food Engineering, Faculty of Ecology and Nutrition, Faculty of Socio-Cultural Sciences, Faculty of Social Welfare, and Faculty of Economics. The university currently has approximately 9,000 students, including about 1,500 international students.


02 University of Applied Sciences Burgenland (FH Burgenland)

The two universities completed the signing of the cooperation agreement in June 2024 and will conduct a student exchange program.

University of Applied Sciences Burgenland is one of the time-honored universities of applied sciences in Austria. Founded in 1993, the university has 7,700 students, with two campuses in Eisenstadt and Pinkafeld, and five faculties in Eisenstadt, namely, Business School, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Social Work, Faculty of Energy and Environment, and Faculty of Health.

 

03 Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport (GUPES)

SZTU and GUPES signed a cooperation agreement in April 2024 and will cooperate in the field of student and faculty exchanges.

Founded in 1952, Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport is one of the universities with the most complete sports facilities in Poland and is ranked 162nd globally and 1st in Poland in the ShanghaiRankings Global Ranking of Sport Science Schools and Departments in 2022. Located in the city of Gdansk, Western Primorsky Province, GUPES has three faculties: Faculty of Physical Education, Faculty of Physical Education, Faculty of Sports and Rehabilitation, and Faculty of Tourism and Leisure Management. Currently, GUPES offers dozens of sports-related specialties to more than 3,000 students.
