Recently, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) and Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg (OTH Regensburg) held a signing ceremony for the double degree program, jointly training students majoring in International Business.

The double degree program will select 10 outstanding students from both universities in each academic year. Students will have opportunities to study courses and undertake internships at the partner university for two years. Upon fulfilling the academic requirements, students will be awarded a Bachelor of Management degree in International Business from SZTU, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business Management from OTH Regensburg.

Founded in 1971, OTH Regensburg is a renowned public university located in the city of Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany. It is the largest university of applied sciences in Bavaria. SZTU and OTH Regensburg signed a framework cooperation agreement in December 2016. Distinguished Professor Holger Haldenwang, dean of Business School at SZTU, is the former vice president of OTH Regensburg. Over these years, several students from SZTU have participated in exchange programs at OTH Regensburg for a semester. Besides, some professors from OTH Regensburg have been invited to visit Shenzhen and participated in SZTU’s International Week in the past few years. With more than 20 students from SZTU plan to participate in exchange programs at OTH Regensburg in 2024, the collaboration between two universities is thriving.
