National Photon Technology Forum wraps up at SZTU

From December 6th to 9th, the 4th National Photon Technology Forum (Greater Bay Area) was held at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU). Over 1,000 experts, scholars and enterprise representatives across the country gathered at SZTU and discussed the latest research progress and development trends in the industry, and were invited to attend the awards banquet held in the Convention and Exhibition Center in Pingshan.

The forum set up seven topics, including optical sensing and its applications, optical communication and optical networks, laser technology and applications, optoelectronic devices and integration, microwave terahertz photonics and optoelectronic technology, optical displays and optical information processing, and ultra-strong laser physics and applications. More than 100 well-known equipment manufacturers in this field participated in the forum, and over 60 companies participated in the exhibition on campus, promoting a deep integration of academia and industry.

"The breakthrough, development, transformation and application of photon technology are undoubtedly important forces for the Greater Bay Area to enhance its innovative vitality, generate development momentum and absorb new quality productivity." said Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, rotating chairman of the forum and founding president of SZTU. He expressed the hope that the forum, serving as a platform for sharing ideas and showcasing the latest theoretical research and cutting-edge technologies in the field of photon technology, will promote the vigorous advancement of scientific and technological innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
