The fifth Automotive Culture Festival of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) kicked off on May 22 at the College of Urban Transportation and Logistics, showcasing a vibrant blend of automotive technology, cultural exchange, and industry-academia collaboration. The event was witnessed by distinguished guests, including Prof. Chen Qiuming, secretary of the Party Committee of SZTU; Du Xinli, deputy secretary of CPC Shenzhen Pingshan District Committee; Prof. Deng Yuanlong, vice president of SZTU; and Jouni Ahonen, vice president of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

The opening ceremony highlighted strategic collaborations between SZTU and leading enterprises. The university signed cooperation agreements with Shenzhen Seg Smartechs Co., Ltd. and FXB Co., Ltd., as well as internship cooperation agreements with Mingshang Technology Co., Ltd. and Jinsheng Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Additionally, SZTU unveiled the “SZTU-Shanghai Yisu Joint Laboratory of Vehicle Control Technology” established with Shanghai Yisu Information Technologies Co., Ltd., marking a significant step forward in talent development and technological innovation within the automotive sector.

The three-day automotive extravaganza featured a diverse lineup of activities, including an exhibition of iconic vehicles from the 1980s to the present day, test-drives of new energy vehicles, karting speed challenges and racing simulator experiences, all open to the public. Meanwhile, nearly 20 companies offered job opportunities for students at an internship and employment fair.
