The 2025 International Business Case Conference was recently held at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) under the theme “Sustainable Development in the Digital Era”. Founded by the Business School, the conference aimed to promote innovative practices in international teaching, enhance educational collaboration, and provide a professional academic platform to jointly explore new paths for talent cultivation.

Over three days, the conference attracted scholars, experts, and students from nine countries and regions worldwide. Its program included academic and industry seminars, campus visit, an intangible heritage experience workshop, keynote speeches, the “Global Voices” panel, student workshops, lightning talks, and a closed-door meeting. Several renowned domestic and international scholars and experts delivered keynote speeches centered on the conference theme. During the “Global Voices” segment, guests from Germany, Portugal, Canada, and the United States exchanged insights and shared their experiences in business case research and teaching. The student workshops and lightning talks offered young scholars and students opportunities to showcase their research findings and ideas, sparking their enthusiasm for innovation.

Distinguished speakers invited to this conference included Prof. Dr. Jürgen Bode and Senior Lecturer Ms. Regina Brautlacht from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, University of Applied Sciences; Prof. Dr. Mirjam Hauck from The Open University; Prof. Dr. Paula Fonseca and Prof. Dr. Lurdes Martins from the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu; Prof. Dr. Kristi Julian from Middle Tennessee State University; and Prof. Dr. Wendi Hulme from Fanshawe College.
