On November 13, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) warmly welcomed a 39-member delegation of students and faculty from Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), Austria, marking the largest in-person exchange since the two institutions established their partnership in 2020. The delegation, comprising members from eight different countries, embarked on a comprehensive cultural and academic immersion at SZTU. The visit commenced with a welcome address by Zeng Siyu, director of the International Cooperation and Exchanges Department, who expressed SZTU's enthusiasm for the exchange and highlighted its role in deepening mutual understanding between the two university communities.

Guided by SZTU students and staff, the MCI delegation explored the university's state-of-the-art facilities, witnessing firsthand its commitment to an application-oriented education model. Key highlights included:
Racing Car Studio: The student-developed Formula SAE race car, a consistent award-winner in international competitions, drew significant interest and praise from the visitors.
SF Smart Logistics Practice Base: The autonomous guided vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) delivery systems demonstrated the tangible outcomes of SZTU's deep collaboration with industry leaders like SF Express.
Intelligent IoT Innovation Laboratory: Research achievements in industrial Internet of Things showcased the university's focus on cutting-edge technological development.
SDI Graduation Show 2025: The exhibition of graduate works, which masterfully blended art with technology, impressed the delegation with SZTU's vibrant creative and innovative atmosphere.

The exchange extended beyond technical showcases to include rich cultural and academic interactions. At the School of Foreign Languages, MCI delegates tried their hand at Chinese calligraphy, filling the room with laughter and cross-cultural friendship. Dean Zhong Ling presented the school's achievements in international exchanges, underscoring SZTU's role as a bridge for Sino-foreign youth communication.

A session at the Business School featured an introduction by Vice Dean Li Jie on the school's distinctive characteristics, including its programs taught in English and internationally recruited faculty. This was followed by an in-depth discussion between delegates and faculty on topics ranging from campus life to Shenzhen's remarkable urban development.
The successful visit not only solidified the institutional relationship between SZTU and MCI but also served as a powerful demonstration of SZTU's open posture and firm resolve to advance internationalization and build a new model of application-oriented research university. The event provided international students with a direct window into SZTU's dynamic learning environment and its deep connections with industry.
