On Oct 24, 2018, DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschedienst, in English: German Academic Exchange Service) Guangzhou Office held the DAAD Networking Event in Guangzhou and representatives from International Cooperation and Student Affairs Office of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) were invited to attend.

16 German universities and institutes attended the event, such as Technical University of Munich, University of Göttingen, University Jena, Saarland University, Furtwangen University of Applied Sciences, Reutlingen University, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Bavarian Universities etc. Besides, many Chinese universities in South China that are in close contact with German universities also took part in the event, such as Sun Yat-sen University, Jinan University, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen University and so on.

The China Education Expo (CEE) 2018 was held on Oct 25, 2018 in Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou, and SZTU was invited to join the Expo. SZTU exchanged opinions not only with the universities of applied sciences in Germany, but also with other comprehensive universities in England, Canada, USA, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Thailand and so on. Many representatives from the universities have strong interest in cooperating with SZTU. They looked forward to visiting SZTU and establishing further cooperation with SZTU.
