On November 13, 2018, a signing ceremony between Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) and China Telecommunications Corporation (China Telecom) for a strategic cooperation framework agreement has been held at the launching campus of SZTU. The General Manager, Li Shengfei, and Vice General Manager, Li Linmei, from the Shenzhen Branch of China Telecom, and the General Manager, Li Jian, from the Pianshan District and Dapeng District Branch visited SZTU and attended the ceremony. Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, President of SZTU, Prof. Xu Gang, Vice President of SZTU and relevant faculty members were present as well.

In his remark during the meeting, Prof. Ruan first introduced SZTU’s past preparatory efforts for its establishment, its orientation and operational characteristics. He then reviewed the progress and implementation of the signed projects in the area of international cooperation and university-enterprise collaboration. He specified that SZTU had acchived sound progress regarding its establishment efforts and would become one of the highlights in Pingshan District.

On behalf of China Telecom, Li Shengfei expressed his willingness to cooperate with SZTU and co-cultivate talents with craftsman spirit. He invited SZTU to join hands with China Telecom in building an experiential museum with the theme of smart city that would clearly display the core technologies of building smart city.
