On June 1st, 20 students from the College of Big Data and Internet of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) arrived in Würzburg, Germany to participate in the 15-day International Week project organized by University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS). Students from SZTU are going to partake in classes on Computer Science with other students from India, Finland and Britain etc. In the meanwhile, Professor Liang Lixin was invited as the representative of SZTU to give his lecture on Enterprise Java Development during the week.

The International Week is one of the traditional activities of FHWS in which professors in various fields from partner universities of FHWS around the globe are invited to Würzburg and teach specialized courses to officially-enrolled FHWS students and exchange students. Professor Robert Grebner who is the president of FHWS and has visited SZTU for several times, invited SZTU during his March visit to go to Würzburg and take part in FHWS’ International Week.

With a history of over 200 years, FHWS is one of the biggest universities in Bavaria and is consisted of two campuses, namely the Würzburg campus and the Schweinfurt campus. The laboratory where Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen produced and detected X-rays is also located at FHWS, which earned him the first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901.
