On June 4th, 2018, Eberhard Auchter, Professor of the Faculty of Business Studies of Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (OTH Regensburg) visited Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) and started an 8-day class on business management and entrepreneurship. 16 students from the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing, the College of Big Data and Internet, and the College of New Materials and New Energies that have passed the previous interview took part in his class.

Professor Ruan Shuangchen, President of SZTU, was present on the day and talked with the students about the significance of entrepreneurship and the plan that SZTU was going to open even more lessons on enterprise practices and project developments before the class officially began. Professor Auchter said that entrepreneurship is ‘a process of creating something new with value’ amongst other things.

For the more-than-a-week-or-so period of time, Mr. Auchter is going to help the students understand entrepreneurial issues, write business plans, pursue goals and strategies within an authentic business and market environment, obtain experience of critical management success factors, deal with decision-making situations and uncertainty, work together within a management-team in competition with other teams, and use management tools.
