As student representatives of SZTU, six students majoring in Lighting Source and Illumination were lucky enough to visit University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) for a 10-day experimental training program on February 22nd.

Markus Lopepfe, the director of International Office in the School of Engineering, gave a warm welcome at the welcome dinner, briefed the introduction about the infrastructure and educational goals as well as the mission of the school, and led students to visit the laboratories and library.

It is worth mentioning that these young students also attended the workshop with students in FHNW and job fair in Switzerland. In this case, the young lucky students communicated with the human resources staff of advanced manufacturing enterprises and got professional guidance towards career planning. In the meantime, many well-known multinational companies such as Sika showed interest in providing practical training in their China bases with the hope that further exchanges and cooperation with SZTU can be developed in the future.
