Ten-year Cooperation between FHWS and SZTU in the Future

     University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) is one of the largest applied technology universities in Bavaria, Germany, with a history of more than 200 years. Robert Grebner, President of FHWS has made five "intimate contact" with SZTU within one year.

     The delegation of FHWS came to Shenzhen on March 29th, starting the fifth visit to Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU). After the tour around the launching campus and various laboratories, Professor Ruan Shuangchen, the president of SZTU and Professor Grebner reached an agreement on ten-year cooperation in the field of exchange programs for students and faculty, World Twin Mechatronics, joint laboratory, FHWS i-Factory and student dormitories. In this case, both students and faculty of SZTU will have more opportunities to study and research in Germany.

     In addition, four distinguished professors from FHWS will join the international faculty team of SZTU. Specifically, they are Isabel John from School of Computer Science, Jean Meyer from School of Mechanical Engineering, Normen Langner from School of Architecture and Civil Engineering and Erich Schöls from School of Design.
