The delegation of University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) headed by Rudolf Traugott Nützi, Dean of the School of Economic Management, visited Shenzhen University of Technology (SZTU) on October 26th, 2017. They received a warm welcome from SZTU and had an in-depth discussion with Professor Ruan Shuangchen, President of SZTU. As a result, the two universities signed a cooperation agreement at the meeting, including knowledge transfer, faculty exchanges and scientific research. In the meantime Professor Nützi was hired as a guest professor of SZTU.

     Professor Nützi indicated that the signing of the agreement would bring more substantial results in the future. SZTU is currently the only university of applied sciences in Shenzhen and therefore it will have more opportunities to communicate with prestigious universities in Switzerland and Germany. In addition, Professor Ruan stated that SZTU highly valued international exchanges and cooperation with specific projects.
