SZTU delegation visits Aalen UAS

SZTU delegation led by Prof. Dr. Ruan Shuangchen, the president of SZTU, visited Aalen University of Applied Sciences (Aalen UAS) on June 17th, 2019, which became SZTU’s partner university and signed a cooperation agreement with SZTU in July 2017.

SZTU delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Gerhard Schneider, president of Aalen UAS, Prof. Dr. Harald Riegel, vice president of Aalen UAS, Prof. Dr. Rainer Börret, dean of the School of Optics & Mechatronics, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Trost, dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science, Prof. Dr. Thomas Hellmuth from the School of Optics & Mechatronics, Prof. Dr. Jörg Büechl from the School of Management & Business Sciences, and Mr. Pascal Cromm, director of International Relations. The two sides held friendly talks and discussed the further cooperation between SZTU and Aalen UAS.

Accompanied by Prof. Riegel, Prof. Börret and Mr. Cromm, SZTU delegation visited the Center for Optical Technologies, Materials Research Institute, Laser Application Center and Innovation Center. Specifically, the Innovation Center serves as an incubation platform for students' innovation ability, aiming to provide students with guidance and training in creation, innovation and entrepreneurship.
