From December 6 to December 8, the grand final of 2019 Multilanguage “Star Teacher” Contest set up by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP) was held in Beijing. Two SZTU teachers competed with powerful contestants from all over China in German and impressed the judges with their outstanding performance. Liu Chuan, teacher from College of Humanities and Social Sciences (School of Marxism), won the champion of in the German teaching group and Zhang Lulu from the same College won the first prize.

Liu Chuan said that teaching has always been a self-improving process. In order to cultivate more needed talents for the society, she will keep improving her language proficiency and teaching skills.

Thanks to the Contest, Zhang Lulu gained a lot of inspiration and advice for her future teaching plans. She learned that language teaching should take a new approach and do it with higher efficiency.
