On November 6, the award ceremony of 2020 Shenzhen "Dream Catcher" College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Shenzhen Talent Park. Students of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) demonstrated their talents in innovation and entrepreneurship with excellent presentation and defence on their projects in the final round. As a result, SZTU won the honor of “Excellent Organizer” and its two student projects secured second place and sixth place respectively with a total of 230,000 RMB in prize money.

The entries are mainly from universities in Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau, including the University of Hong Kong and the University of Macau. The shortlisted projects mainly cover the sectors of the Internet, online education and biomedicine, involving e-commerce, computer software, medical apparatus, microelectronics and other fields of research.

SZTU attached great importance to this competition and invited experts to provide comprehensive guidance for the student teams on their projects. There were 50 teams advancing to the semi-final, 5 of which are from SZTU. After fierce competition, two teams from SZTU won Second Prize with 150,000 RMB and Third Prize with 80,000 RMB respectively.
