Edited by:Release Time:2024/04/12

The 2024 Spring Campus Job Fair was held at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) on April 2, jointly sponsored by the Human Resources and Social Security Administration of Shenzhen Municipality, the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, and SZTU. The job fair not only helps graduates improve their employability in an all-round way, but also offers a platform for younger students to gain early insights into the job market.

Most candidates said that they had done a lot of preparation in advance, such as screening suitable companies and positions and preparing their resumes. To gain a deeper understanding of the current employment situation and job market, students actively communicated with HR professionals at the job fair, hoping to make a full plan for their career development.

The interviewers at the job fair mentioned that candidates at SZTU have a hard-working spirit and strong practical skills. At the same time, students in Shenzhen have a broader vision and a more active mindset. They advised job seekers to explore different industries and not to restrict themselves narrowly to their majors.

There was a special live broadcast booth at the job fair, where 54 positions from 14 enterprises located in Pingshan District were advertised through online platforms. It allowed potential candidates to communicate directly with the hosts and obtain relevant information about the enterprises and the positions.

Students can also receive instructions on how to revise their resumes from professionals at the job fair. SZTU graduates generally have rich internship experience, which is a competitive advantage in the job market, according to a career mentor.

More than 2,000 students will graduate from SZTU in 2024. At present, some of them have been hired by SF, TCL CSOT, Unilumin Group Co., Ltd, Tesla, Sinopec, and other famous enterprises. So far, 66 students have been admitted by Central Saint Martins, Nanyang Technological University, University College London, the University of Sydney, Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Politecnico di Torino, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen University, and other well-known universities at home and abroad.
