The School of Marxism, also called College of Humanities and Social Sciences, offers ideological and political theory courses and other related public courses to students. It has a well-structured faculty team with outstanding teaching and research capacity, including 13 full-time teaching staff members, all of whom have doctorate degrees. The main research areas include the localization of Marxism in China, the theory of ruling party and its practice in the new era, and the teaching reform of ideological and political theory courses.
Based on the characteristics of universities of applied sciences, the School aims to set up branded ideological and political courses, actively promote the pilot reform of ideological and political education, persist in the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and equip students with patriotism and the spirit of craftsman.
