Ariel University Pays the First Visit to SZTU

   On Oct 30, Prof. Albert Pinhasov, Vice President of Ariel University, and Dr. Jing Jie, CEO of Zhejiang Huacells Cooperation visited Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) for the first time. Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, Director of SZTU, Prof. Zhang Yanhong, Deputy Director of SZTU, Prof. Hu Junqing, Dean of College of Health Science and Environmental Engineering and Ms. Zeng Siyu, Head of the International Cooperation and Student Affairs Office extended a warm welcome to the guests.


   On behalf of Ariel University, Prof. Pinhasov first made a brief introduction about its history, vision and faculty members. Prof. Ruan also introduced values, concepts and goals of SZTU and pointed out the areas of common interest for future cooperation between Ariel University and SZTU.

   With mutual discussion on student and faculty exchange programs, scientific research projects and the establishment of joint lab, Ariel University signed a preliminary Memorandum of Understanding with Shenzhen Technology University, aiming to strengthen future cooperation between two universities.

   After the meeting, Prof. Pinhasov and Dr. Jing paid a visit to the Laboratory of Advanced Materials, Laboratory of Electronic Technology and Sino-German Laboratory of Beer Brewing Process Control.

Tips:

   Ariel University, formerly the College of Judea and Samaria (CJS), was established in 1982 as a branch of Bar-Ilan University. On July 17, 2012, Ariel University was granted a full university status. Now it represents one of the fastest-growing Israeli universities with strong experience on research and engineering.
