From October 25th to 26th, Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, Director of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) led a delegation to Hefei in Anhui for the 11th Sino-German Symposium on Application-oriented Higher Education. More than 500 representatives from China and Germany attended the symposium and held discussions on new ideas for the construction of high-level application-oriented universities.

Representatives from 15 universities in Germany, 15 German research institutes and enterprises, and 137 colleges and universities in China attended the opening ceremony.

In the branch venue, Prof. Ruan Shuangchen as the representative of SZTU made a speech entitled "Introduction to Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) Science and Technology Innovation Program" in English. He introduced SZTU to the participants from five aspects, namely, Overview of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), Teaching Staff, International Cooperation, University-Enterprise Cooperation, and Science and Technology Innovation. Some German professors were highly interested in SZTU after Prof. Ruan’s speech and looked forward to learn more about this young university.
