From November 13 to November 17, China Hi-Tech Fair 2019 was successfully held in Shenzhen, in which hi-tech products in various areas were on prominent display, including latest information technology, new energies, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing and aerospace, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, smart home and 5G.

As one of the exhibitors, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) demonstrated 45 achievements in scientific research, including 24 physical samples. The exhibits were closely related to cutting-edge science with high applicability and covered the fields of latest information technology, smart manufacturing, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energies and biotechnology.

On the morning of November 13, accompanied by Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, Wu Yihuan, deputy mayor of Shenzhen city, visited the booth of SZTU. With the detailed explanation for different exhibits, Wu showed great interests in smart wearable devices and products related to smart manufacturing and new materials, and recognized the rapid development of SZTU and the important connection between applied talent training and the future development for local industries.

It is worth mentioning that SZTU won two awards, “Excellent Organization” and “Excellent Exhibit”. In addition, Li Liquan, young teacher from College of Creative Design, won “Excellent Product” award for his innovation design “Modular Mineral Water Bottle”.
