On December 6, Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center (SUTPC) sent a delegation to SZTU for mutual exchanges on future cooperation, which consisted of Zhang Xiaochun, chairman of SUTPC, Li Feng, chief technology officer, and Lu Yang, director of Administrative and Legal Department. SUTPC was established in 1996 as one of the most important consulting agencies in the field of urban traffic research.

After mutual discussion, SZTU signed a strategic cooperation frame agreement on university-enterprise cooperation with SUTPC. Hosted by Prof. Xu Gang, vice president of SZTU, the signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, Prof. Du Chenlin, head of Scientific Research and University-Enterprise Cooperation Office, Prof. Franz Raps, dean of College of Urban Transportation and Logistics and Assoc. Prof. Luo Qin, head of Transportation Department from College of Urban Transportation and Logistics.

SZTU President Ruan Shuangchen welcomed the delegation from SUTPC and looked forward to having further cooperation and exchanges on university-enterprise cooperation, talent cultivation and faculty development.

Zhang Xiaochun, chairman of SUTPC, said that SUTPC played its role as an important bridge for exchanges with Germany in the transport sector. In this regard, SZTU could make full use of SUTPC’s connection and enhance cooperation with German universities and institutions in various fields.
