On the morning of April 21, Discipline Inspection Committee of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC and Supervision Commission of Shenzhen Municipality carried out a spot inspection at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) to check the epidemic prevention and control and preparatory work for school reopening as COVID-19 is abating in China. The inspection team was led by Li Dingwen, member of Supervision Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, accompanied by Prof. Zhang Jihong, secretary of the Party committee of SZTU, Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU and Prof. Zhang Yanhong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of SZTU.

The team members inspected the public teaching building, student dormitory and canteen for the safety of students after their return to SZTU. The warehouse storing epidemic prevention materials was under close inspection. The inspectors highly recognized SZTU’s appropriate prevention and control measures and orderly preparatory work for the safe resumption of classes and offered pertinent advice for further improvement.

Prof. Zhang Yanhong reported to the inspection team on related work of discipline inspection and supervision at SZTU. The inspection team requested Discipline Inspection Committee of SZTU to continue playing its role after the resumption of school.
