Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) and Shenzhen AOTO Electronics Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on July 15. The signing ceremony was joined by Wu Hanqu, chairman and president of AOTO Electronics; Wu Zhenzhi, vice president and director of AOTO AI & Image Research Institute; Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU; Prof. Liang Yongsheng, vice president of SZTU; Liu Liwen, director of Human Resources Office; Prof. Zhai Jianpang, dean of Graduate School; and Prof. Wu Xu, director of Scientific Research and University-Enterprise Cooperation Office.

Prof. Ruan warmly welcomed the AOTO Electronics delegation. He said that SZTU will soon complete the first phase of campus construction, laying a good foundation for working with AOTO Electronics in the future. The two sides will cooperate closely to meet the needs of industry and R&D, solve core technical problems, promote the development of disciplines and technologies, and train needed talents.

Wu Hanqu spoke highly of SZTU’s university philosophy. He was impressed by the tremendous changes and the rapid development of the university. As a high-end manufacturer in video and image, AOTO Electronics has a huge demand for technology and talents in new materials and intelligent manufacturing. He hoped that the two sides could jointly develop projects in areas with urgent needs, and jointly train senior engineers and other applied technical talents needed by the enterprise.

Representatives from both parties signed a strategic framework agreement on university-enterprise cooperation. AOTO Electronics and SZTU will cooperate in the following areas and more:

-Build internship training bases;

-Build human resources training bases;

-Conduct science and technology research;

-Train students and provide job opportunities for graduates;

-Set up majors and courses;

-Train teachers.
