The 23rd China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) was held from December 27 to 29, 2021 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian District) and Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao’an District). Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) attended CHTF with 69 original scientific research achievements.

Introduction of some exhibits:
1. 100W picosecond industrial laser
High-power picosecond UV lasers have wide applications in 3C electronics, semiconductors, new energy photovoltaic industry, 5G communications, etc.

Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, and his team members have worked with Han’s Laser, CASTECH and other companies in the past decade and developed a series of industrial 355nm UV lasers, with the UV wavelength conversion efficiency of above 35%, the single-point lifetime of the nonlinear crystal exceeding 10,000 hours (much longer than the international average of 2,000 hours), and the maximum laser output power reaching 105W (8ps).
2. Series of excimer lasers
The SZTU researchers have developed a series of excimer lasers with independent intellectual property rights and transformed the technology into products relying on Shenzhen Shengfang Technology Co., Ltd. The products include small excimer laser series and medium power excimer laser series. Customized excimer lasers with high power and high repetition frequency can also be provided.

Small excimer lasers can be used for fiber Bragg grating (FBG) writing, fine processing, precision marking, ophthalmology medical treatment, spectrum analysis, etc. PLD series medium power excimer lasers can be used for pulsed laser deposition of thin films, microfabrication, surface treatment of materials, laser annealing, spectral analysis, etc.
3. Quasi-distributed optical fiber pressure sensors for ocean exploration
The quasi-distributed optical fiber pressure sensor is mainly composed of a broadband light source, a circulator, multiple sensing probes, a spectrometer, a data processing system and a display. The sensing and transmission of the device take light as the carrier, and it has the advantages of simple process, high sensitivity and stable performance.

4. Nano-tesla tensor magnetic dynamic sensing system
The existing magnetic detection technology features high cost, large size and low efficiency. The research team designed, produced and calibrated the high-precision, miniaturized, modular, low-noise and networked nano-tesla vector magnetic field sensor.

5. 3D visual holographic inspection system for automobile tires
The system can collect and reconstruct the profile data of the tire as it rotates. The system can obtain the extended 3D point cloud visualization data of the complete tire and calculate the tread depth and width and other data. The system can track the overall use of the tires and the health status in a cloud database.
