SZTU attends Industrial Expo in HK

The DMP Greater Bay Area Industrial Expo • Hong Kong was held at AsiaWorld–Expo from June 20 to June 23. As the only university from mainland China participating in the Expo, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) showcased 22 technological exhibits and received two gold awards, three silver awards and one bronze award.

Over 40 students from SZTU attended the Expo, showcasing their exhibits in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, photoelectric technology, industrial internet, biomedical care and new materials. They exchanged ideas with experts and technicians from other tech companies and universities and gained information on the latest development in various industries as well as innovative products and technologies.

During the Expo, many other activities were also held. At the GBA Innovation and Technology Int’l Co-operation Forum, Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, was honored as the Honorary Chief Advisor for the Forum. Prof. Holger Haldenwang, founding dean of Business School at SZTU, delivered a report at the Presidents Forum on International Cooperation. He shared insights on the technological reform and breakthroughs in AI as well as SZTU’s operational philosophy and international advancements.

 

Focusing on smart manufacturing, innovation & technology and industrialization, the DMP Greater Bay Area Industrial Expo • Hong Kong attracted over 600 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors from all over the world this year.
