The Forum began with a welcome speech given by President of FHWS Prof. Robert Grebner, under the following four topics: Mobile Robotics, Service Robotics, Industrial Robotics and Humanoid Robotics. At the forum, experts from Germany and China discussed the pathway to simplify teacher-student exchange, develop talents with double or multiple degrees and prepare students with basic skills for future career or international cooperation in applied research. In Prof. Grebner’s speech, he mentioned FHWS’s willingness to offer a German-teaching Bachelor Program “Robotik” together with an English-teaching Twin Program “Robotics”. With the gradual introduction of a degree program in robotics at several Bavarian and German universities of applied sciences, they can be empowered to carry on their tradition as a cradle of engineers with growing attractiveness.
